How I was called to Ministry
On April 14, 2019, I accepted an invitation to minister at a community center, there were six adults and one child present. My intention was to deliver the word and not return.
However, the Lord had me going back every Sunday after that. Twenty years prior, I received a prophetic word over my life as God spoke into my life concerning pastoring… within myself I was not ready to do that anytime soon. One day after going to this community center for a few months, I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “This is your assignment”. I asked Him a few questions, I tried in my own way to get out of it because that was never a gift, I asked the Lord for.
I was reluctant even after conformation upon conformation regarding the prophetic Word given to me over the years. As difficult as it is and scary as it was, I am blessed that God has chosen me to carry this mantle.
I was also made aware that Pastor Thompson who started this church has been deceased for two years prior, and it was being carried on by is dearly beloved widow. A wonderful woman of God Mother Florizel Thompson who is so loving and caring to the group of people.
Ten months later I accepted the call and was anointed to be Pastor Elect of that ministry. The Lord told me that he was rebuilding the ministry… prophetically enough the message I delivered the first time I was there was “Rebuilding of the Ministry” I did not even know what God was up to at the time.
The name of the ministry was changed from Multicultural Gospel Center to Revelation Church of Jesus Christ Ministries (RCJC Ministries) for short. On February 23, 2020, I was ordained and installed as the Senior Pastor for RCJC Ministries.
We started online zoom ministry due to the pandemic. On December 23, 2021, we got a physical location at 40 Le Page Court North York. The first month we had over 25 people including children, and we continue to grow in members as well as our zoom audience. We continue to build in fasting, prayer and in worship as God increase us in every capacity.
We have officiated in funerals/home going services, baptisms, and baby dedications so far. We continue to strive to walk into the destiny, vision, and purpose that Jesus Christ has ordained for RCJC Ministries in the earth. We bless the Lord for the lives that He’s been transforming thus far and for the magnitude of revelation, blessings, and favor he has bestowed upon this ministry, as we continue to raise giants and build for the Kingdom of God. On behalf of a Jesus Nation, we welcome you to RCJC Ministries!!!!
